Council of the Township of Amaranth will be holding a public meeting to amend the Fees and Charges by-law. This meeting will be held on December 4, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. at the Municipal Office or you may attend virtually through the Zoom link provided in the Council Agenda.

All interested parties are invited to attend the Public Meeting of Council and any person who attends the meeting may make representations relating to the proposed Building Permit Fee Schedule.

The Dufferin Board of Trade’s 2023 Business Survey is open. This survey helps DBOT and its municipal and community partners learn the issues that are impacting our local businesses. February 7, 2023 - Credit Valley Conservation (CVC) advises that daytime highs will range from 2 to 8ºC over the next several days. Light rain is forecasted for today and up to 20mm is expected on Thursday.

On Wednesday February 1st at 8:30am, the Council of the Township of Amaranth, in association with the Dufferin County Canadian Black Association (DCCBA), will recognize Black History Month by raising the Pan-African flag at the Township Municipal Office.
The Township of Amaranth is starting to hold special budget meetings starting January 18th, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. Residents are invited to e-mail in or join the meeting with any ideas, comments or questions for Council.
