Bale Trail
4th Annual Amaranth Bale Trail
Following the Trail provides a good excuse to take a road trip around Amaranth, where you will see the creative side of our local farmers, residents and bale enthusiasts. This year bales will be on display for the month of October. The Bale Trail map will be available on the Township’s website and Facebook page early October.
To participate in the Bale Trail pick the category you would like to enter and get creative on that bale! You can also put out a farm stand/table with your products and/or produce to sell.

By completing the registration form below you are agreeing to enter the contest and decorate a bale, request a bale(s) or to be listed with a farm gate sale. Completed forms can be dropped off at the Township Office or emailed to info@amaranth.ca.
Registration forms will be required to enter the contest and to be on the trail map (even if you are providing your own bales). Bales will be delivered as soon as possible once you have registered. Best of luck to all the participants!!!
If you do not indicate a category on the registration form the judges will determine the category for you.
Rules and Regulations:
- Bales must be decorated by October 25. One winner from each category will be announced in early November.
- Entries will be judged on eye appeal, construction, use of material and creativity.
- Registrants are responsible for providing decorating supplies. It is recommended that decorations be weather and wind proof. Decorations must be removed from the bales by November 11.
