Building Permit Services - January 2025

As of January 1, 2025, the Township of Amaranth will offer building permit services to residents, businesses and developers. The Township is pleased to offer these services through the Cloudpermit platform - an online system to apply for and track your building permits.
The Cloudpermit building permit system allows you to apply for and to see the status of your application anywhere, at any time. You can start an application and finish it later, and receive email updates on the status of your permit application. You can even request building inspections!

Planning Notices

Road Closure - Zero Visibility Conditions - February 18, 2025 UPDATED

February 18, 2025 - Weather Update
Snow removal operations are still ongoing with Staff focusing on the higher class roads at this time. The Roads Department made great efforts today, however, the wind and blowing snow are making it hard to make much progress.
We are advising travelers to stay off Township roads due to the high winds causing blowing snow and zero visibility. Please restrict travel until the weather conditions improve.
Amaranth East-Luther Townline, 10th Line and 8th Line sections, as noted previously, remain closed at this time.

Amaranth East-Luther Townline and 10th Line are closed from Highway 89 to County Road 10 by Police Order due to zero visibility. 

8th line between 20th and 25th sideroad is closed at this time.

Amaranth Township has paused snow control operations at this time and will resume Tuesday morning. We are advising travelers to stay off Township roads due to the high winds causing blowing snow and zero visibility. Please restrict travel until the weather conditions improve and stay safe.
