National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Each year, September 30th marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. This day recognizes the tragic legacy of residential schools, the missing children, the families left behind and the survivors of these institutions.

Council of the Township of Amaranth acknowledges September 30th as the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (National Orange Shirt Day) by sharing the stories of residential school survivors, their families, and communities.
