Building Permit Services - January 2025

As of January 1, 2025, the Township of Amaranth will offer building permit services to residents, businesses and developers. The Township is pleased to offer these services through the Cloudpermit platform - an online system to apply for and track your building permits.
The Cloudpermit building permit system allows you to apply for and to see the status of your application anywhere, at any time. You can start an application and finish it later, and receive email updates on the status of your permit application. You can even request building inspections!

Planning Notices

The Township of Amaranth will now be placing all Planning Notices on the Township website at the following link: https://www.amaranth.ca/municipal-government/planning-development/
Please note that due to the Canada Post strike, our Planning Notices cannot be distributed via mail and can be found at the above link.

Minister of Finance - Call for Pre-Budget Submission

The Ministry of Finance is seeking input from stakeholders on key priorities and ideas to inform Ontario’s upcoming 2025 Budget.

I’m sharing this opportunity to contribute to today as your insights will play an important role in shaping efforts to address pressing challenges such as public safety, firefighting, corrections, animal welfare, auto theft, justice and bail reform.

To share your priorities, you are invited to visit the Ministry of Finance’s submission webpage at 2025 Budget Consultations. Submissions will be accepted until February 3, 2025.

Additionally, you’re welcome to share your ideas with me by email with the subject line “2025 Pre-Budget Submission.”
