Harmful Algal Blooms #HABs are annual occurrence in #LakeErie and a growing concern in many other water bodies. The #toxin produced during HABs can be a drinking water issue if concentrations are high near intakes. Controlling #phosphorus from #runoff is one way to reduce HABs.

2021 Orangeville Rotary Drive-Thru Ribfest - July 16th & 17th

The 2021 Rotary Drive-Thru Ribfest is taking place on Friday July 16th from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday July 17th from 12 noon to 8 p.m.  The venue is the Headwaters Fitness & Racquet Club located at 205467 County Road 109 in Amaranth.  Our two ribbers are Brickyard BBQ and Gator BBQ, and we have three other food vendors:  Ontario Corn Roasters, Palgrave Rotary Chuckwagon with grilled cheese sandwiches and Tiny Tom Donuts.  The Ribfest website is www.orangevilleribfest.com.
