Soccer & Community Market Cancellation
Unfortunately the community market and soccer are being cancelled tonight due to the heat warnings.
Soccer practices and games will continue next week as scheduled.
The Community Market will resume on July 17th from 6-8pm.
Apologies for any inconvenience.
Market vendors must register with the Township in order to participate with the market, please contact the office for more information. There is no vendor charges for the market.

Oak Wilt Threatening Oak Trees in Canada

Did you know? Oak wilt kills thousands of oak trees each year in urban and natural forests.
Oak wilt is a vascular disease of oak trees, caused by the fungus Bretziella fagacearum*. The fungus grows on the outer sapwood of oak trees, restricting the flow of water and nutrients through the tree. Some oak species are more vulnerable than others and can die within a year of infection. In some severe cases, red oaks can mortality can occur within 2-6 weeks following infection.
